Research
We conducted extensive research, including competitor analysis and outlining best practices. This research informed our design process and helped us identify key areas for improvement in the contract signing UX flow.
Goal 1: Intuitive Document Verification Flow
Users found it challenging to verify documents due to the lack of a clear and intuitive flow. To address this, we redesigned the document verification flow to allow simultaneous viewing and data scanning for skimming purposes.

Goal 2: Efficient Document Management
Users struggled with managing multiple documents. We addressed this by integrating an AI-powered system that can process thousands of documents in a few minutes, allowing users to manage their electronic agreements more efficiently.

Goal 3: Data Extraction and Presentation
The existing system did not effectively extract data from uploaded documents and present it in separate sections. We addressed this by integrating an AI-powered feature that extracts data from documents and presents it in an organized and user-friendly manner.

Testing using Maze
Document Verification Flow: Participants found the redesigned document verification flow to be significantly more intuitive. The average usability score for the new flow was 8.5 out of 10, compared to 6.2 for the old flow.
Document Management: Participants reported that the AI-powered system significantly improved their document management efficiency. On average, participants rated their efficiency improvement as 7.8 out of 10.
Data Extraction and Presentation: Participants found the new data extraction and presentation feature to be clear and useful. The average usability score for this feature was 8.7 out of 10, compared to 6.5 for the old feature.
💎 Learnings
This project allowed me to delve into the intricacies of contract management systems and the importance of a user-friendly UX design. The redesign, while not visually drastic, significantly improved the user experience, reinforcing the value of user-centric design. The project also highlighted the importance of iterative design and testing, shaping my approach to future design projects.
Also super credits to my UX Designer: Kritika for bringing the vision alive.
